As the spring line continues to develop, I am still breaking to make sure to take advantage of my theme of the year.
My little family and I decided to take our chances with the rain and go hiking along the river above my hometown last weekend. I took far too many pictures of the sky and the plant life (as per usual). When we set off, the sky directly above us was brilliantly blue, but over the mountains the clouds were thick and dark. When we were stopped to decide whether or not to head even further away (and I took a photo of these bright yellow flowers that grow there in the cooler seasons against the menacing clouds) it started to pour down rain.
We all ran, but in seconds we were drenched. A few minutes later we had made our way back up hill away from the river and the rain stopped just as suddenly as it had started. And there in front of us….
Even mini-adventures can serve as inspiration! Go out and find one.
